About LCS Workwear
Founded in 2018, by Chris, LCS Embroidery has come a long way from its beginnings. The business Changed its name to LCS Workwear in 2020 to come in line with multitude of premium workwear brands stocked.
Chris first started out as a soldier in the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards, but after 12 years of service, he hung up his combat boots and traded them for embroidery machines to fill his newly acquired shop premises in George Street, Ayr. From here, his vision for supplying workwear & PPE alongside the embroidery service took off and before he knew it, the shop was filled with a few brands and ready to open its doors in February 2018.
A passion for detail that’s second to none
With a keen eye for detail and the passion to go above and beyond for customers, LCS has rapidly became not just Ayr’s go to place for Workwear & Embroidery, but now has customers from as far as Canada! Winning an award for ‘Best New Business’ just 5 months after opening was certainly the sign that this was the right move and proof that LCS was just what Ayr needed.
Sky is the limit when it comes to Workwear & Embroidery and we strive to constantly invest in our equipment and continue to listen to what brands/products our customers want. 2 years on and LCS now has ‘Best Specialised Retailer’ and ‘Veteran Owned Business of the Year’ nominations and many more brands and services on the horizon.
Meet the Team:
Small but mighty family team.
Chris - Chris is the driving force behind LCS and not just a pretty face. After being medically discharged from the Army in 2018, Chris purchased 2 embroidery machines, took on the empty shell of a shop in George Street and soon filled it with the products our customers now know and love. It wasn’t always easy getting the bigger brands to take a chance on such a small and new business, but our passion and drive shone through.
Jordan – The embroiderer of the team. Jordan is also the Social Media guru and regularly posts recent work and interacts with customers on our Social Media pages.
Young Team – This is our mini LCS’s. They are the reason we do what we do and the driving force behind us going above and beyond for our customers. Like many of our customers, we are family people and we believe those values are what keep you grounded and focused on the job.
